Privacy Policy

Maison Voyageur (“we”, “us”) provides a travel-advisory platform used by travel agencies, their advisors, and their clients across our web, iOS, and macOS apps. This policy explains what personal data we process and the choices you have. It applies to all three apps, which share one backend.

Data we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address, and (for password sign-in) a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.
  • Trip and client information — itineraries, trip requests, messages/comments, documents, and client profile details that you or your advisor add to plan your travel.
  • Device & push tokens — when you enable notifications, a push token so we can deliver trip updates.
  • Diagnostics — limited crash and error reports to keep the apps reliable. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

How we use it

To operate the service: authenticate you, build and share itineraries, route trip requests to an agency/advisor, deliver notifications and transactional email/SMS, process agency subscription payments, and diagnose problems. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

Your trip and profile data is visible to the travel agency and advisor serving you. We use a small set of processors strictly to run the service: cloud hosting and encrypted storage (AWS), transactional email (Resend), SMS (Twilio), payments (Stripe), and error monitoring (Sentry). Each processes data only on our instructions.

SMS privacy

If you opt in to Maison Voyageur SMS messages, we use your mobile phone number to send service-oriented beta, demo, support, appointment, account, and operational messages related to your request or account. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.

We do not sell your mobile number. We do not share SMS opt-in data or consent status with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS data is shared only with service providers, such as Twilio, as needed to deliver and manage the text messaging service.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account — and the personal data associated with it — at any time from within the app: open the app menu and choose Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. For third-party login connections (such as Facebook), see our User Data Deletion Instructions. Staff (advisor/agency) accounts are managed by your agency; contact your agency owner, or us, to remove them. Some records may be retained where required by law (e.g. financial/tax records).

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Sensitive advisor notes are additionally encrypted with managed keys. Access is restricted to your agency’s tenant.

Children

The apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. You can exercise deletion directly in the app (above); for other requests, contact us.
